A fan once confused Samara Weaving for Margot Robbie at an airport.
Weaving didn't correct the mistake and took a photo.
The Ready or Not star "couldn't break it" to the Robbie supporter.
Some poor Margot Robbie fan is about to realize that she never met the Barbie star.
Robbie's lookalike and fellow Australian actress Samara Weaving has admitted that she once allowed someone to think that she was Robbie.
“I remember I was in an airport, it must have been like 10 years ago, and someone thought I was Margot,” Weaving told PEOPLE. “I just couldn't break it to them that I wasn't, so I posed for a photo with the fan, saying that I was Margot.”

Born less than two years apart in Australia, both Weaving and Robbie made their acting debut in 2008 on Australian soap operas, before breaking through in the United States in the 2010s.
The doppelgängers were then united for a memorable scene in the 2023 cult favorite Babylon, in which Robbie's rookie actress Nellie surprisingly upstages an established performer in Weaving's Constance.

Even if she has her own impressive bonafides, between Ready or Not and Scream VI, Weaving is aware that the Robbie fan is likely to be disappointed if they ever realized their mistake.
“I don't know, they might have looked at it later and been like, 'That's some random lady,'" Weaving said. “So I might be in someone's phone thinking that it's Margot."
Unless they think it's Emma Mackey!
