Robert Irwin just underwent a bold hair transformation by rocking a mustache in a new video—and he left fans saying the same thing in the comments.
On Saturday, Jan. 3, the Dancing With the Stars Season 34 winner, 22, took to Instagram and TikTok with a video showing off his sudden style switch-up.

"OK, so it has been a minute since I shaved," the son of Crocodile Hunter stars Terri Irwin and the late Steve Irwin began the clip. "I've had, like, a week off filming, but I'm about to go back on set. So I'm going to take this opportunity to play a little prank on the crew."
Robert proceeded to shave his facial hair into a mini handlebar mustache, declaring, "This is perfect!" before laughing and singing the Top Gun theme song while wearing aviator sunglasses. He then (hilariously) took on the personas of several other mustached characters.
"I feel like Benson Boone. I feel like I need to do a backflip," Robert joked, singing a bit of his song, "Beautiful Things," for good measure.

"This is your captain speaking," he said in another clip, transforming a mirror selfie into a photo of Blue Bloods star Tom Selleck.
After revealing his facial hair to the crew and his mother, they were stunned and clearly not fans of the new look. He also explained that he brought a razor to shave off the rest.
"Now I've got to get rid of it. I kind of want to keep it," he admitted before turning to Terri and asking, "What do you think, Mum, should I keep it?"
Terri shook her head "no" while answering, "Definitely."
To conclude the clip, Robert demanded, "Give me all the bacon and eggs you have," quoting Nick Offerman's Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation.

In the comments of his Instagram post, Teri replied, "Potential Ned Flanders vibes, referencing the mustached Simpsons character.
On TikTok, some fans approved of Robert's facial hair, with one writing, "The prank is that you look really hot?? 😭," and a second insisting, "I mean. Hear me out: maybe keep the ‘stache."
Another TikTok user shared, "The Ron Swanson reference is A+, sir," as someone else echoed, "The Parks and Rec reference is elite."
"I love that he was cracking himself up after each impression 🤣🤣," a different follower pointed out.
"Not your mom trying to be supportive and real at the same time 🤣," another fan commented.
Meanwhile, plenty of others hoped Top Gun would be in Robert's future.
"It’s giving firefighter/Top Gun, and I’m here for it fully," one wrote.
"Petition for Robert Irwin in the next Top Gun!!" a second TikTok user exclaimed.
Someone else agreed, writing, "Robert should definitely be in the next Top Gun! 😭😭."
Yet another fan commented, "The Top Gun look is too good, I cackled. But you have the most supportive team cause they all were ready to support that look 😂."
