Pat Sajak is joining in on a viral trend.

In a video shared to TikTok by his daughter, Maggie Sajak, the 79-year-old former Wheel of Fortune host used a viral sound bite of Beyoncé describing the creation of her 2013 song, “Partition.”

“My dad when he decided to do a Scooby Doo impression on a random episode of Wheel of Fortune,” the text over top read while Sajak mouthed along to the audio.

The moment took place when a contestant on the game show won by correctly guessing the phrase, “Shaggy & Scooby-Doo.” As Sajak greeted him with congratulations, he said, “I have just one thing to say to you,” before imitating the sounds of a dog.

The clip has resurfaced on social media in recent years, with some calling it the “worst” Scooby-Doo impersonation they’ve ever seen.

Sajak joined Wheel of Fortune in 1981, succeeding host Chuck Woolery, who left to pursue other endeavors in the entertainment industry (Woolery died in July 2024).

Sajak announced on X that the 2023–24 season would be his last on Wheel of Fortune in June 2023, bringing a four-decade run to an end.

In his final episode on June 7, 2024, he addressed the audience with a heartfelt speech, saying, “Well, the time has come to say goodbye. I have a few thanks and acknowledgements before I go. And I want to start with all of you watching out there.”

That same month, his daughter Maggie — who has served as Wheel of Fortune‘s social correspondent since 2021 — interviewed her father for a miniseries titled “Thanks For The Memories,” during which he said, “My goal was not to do the job until I keel over on it.”

“You’ve always heard me say this dozens of times. I’d rather leave a couple years too early than a couple of years too late,” he added.
