Jacqueline MacInnes Wood revealed she envies Katherine Kelly Lang's horseback wedding scene on The Bold and the Beautiful

Wood has played Steffy Forrester since 2008, while Lang has portrayed Brooke Logan since the show's 1987 debut

Wood called Lang's beachside wedding "iconic" while talking to Entertainment Weekly

It's hard to imagine that there was any storyline that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood hasn't been able to portray on The Bold and the Beautiful.

However, Wood admitted to Entertainment Weeklythat she was jealous of one specific scene that came before her tenure on the show.

"When Katherine Kelly Lang, before I was on the show, had that iconic moment with her getting married on horseback. I go, 'I want that moment,'" Wood said, laughing with the reporter. "Yeah, I want a white horse."

Wood first portrayed Steffy Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2008 to 2013. She then rejoined the cast in 2015 and has been on the show since.

Lang, meanwhile, has played Brooke Logan on the show since 1987. In 1994, Logan married Ronn Moss' Ridge Forrester after riding a horse into the scene.

While Lang's character has been married multiple times on the show, she once admitted that — like Wood — the elaborate ceremony was a highlight for her.

"I still remember the first wedding that I had to Ridge on the beach, riding a horse down," she shared with Entertainment Tonight in 2022 for the show's 35th anniversary. "Trotting in and getting off with this, it was kind of like a Cinderella dress. It was just very romantic and very much like Cinderella. So, I loved that dress. I was very partial to that dress, I think, because it was Brooke's first wedding. Besides that, there were so many, I can't even remember."

When she was informed there were 21 on-screen weddings for her character, she quipped, “I'm going to close my ears."

Each of the nuptials, she noted, was "so different.”

“And they all have their own personality, and there was Ridge. Well, first, of course, Brooke fell in love with Ridge. So then it was Ronn Moss, and now it's Thorsten Kaye, so, of course, that's her little love of her life and always will be in her mind."
