Arkansas basketball is halfway through its international tour, and perhaps the biggest test of the summer is up next on the schedule.
The Razorbacks face Toros del Valle on Monday, Aug. 3. Translated to 'Bulls of the Valley', Toros del Valle is a professional team from Cali, Colombia. They play in the Liga WPlay de Baloncesto, the premier professional basketball league in Colombia. In 2026, Toros del Valle won the league title.
John Calipari's team is off to an impressive start at the Baha Mar Summer League. The Hogs beat The Bahamas by 47 points in their opening game, and they followed that rout with a 40-point blowout over Canada's Carleton University.
Freshman point guard Jordan Smith Jr. has been the star for Arkansas. He is averaging 21 points, 8.5 assists and 7.5 rebounds. Smith recorded a triple-double in the win against Carleton.
