When it comes to bold fashion choices, Emily Ratajkowski has never been one to hold back. But while the author-model-actress extraordinaire has tried out nearly every trend out there (for 2025, think capes, berets, and leopard prints), there are a few styles that she has returned to time and time again... and a deep-cut little black dress is certainly one.
This year alone, she experimented with a handful of different takes on her go-to silhouette, trying out a drop-waist version with long sleeves and a high leg slit in September and a braless blazer-dress look in October. Over the summer, she even wore a swimsuit that mirrored the style: a black plunging halter-neck one piece with an open back.
It was only fitting, therefore, that she should pull out a similar gown to celebrate the year-end holidays—and her selection was a particularly daring choice. The halter dress, with its midi-length skirt and deep-cut neckline that plunged all the way down to her waist, was draped from shiny black silk that moved effortlessly as Ratajkowski did, making it the perfect companion for a night of dancing. The star went braless and barefoot, pairing it only with a red lip and red wine.

In the same photo, she highlighted her collection of fruit and vegetable-themed ornament collection by Laila Gohar’s New York City-based tableware brand Gohar World, which included some sweet strawberries, lemons, peas in a pod, and bananas. On her tree itself, the culinary theme continued with a dangling slice of pizza, festive candy canes, and a sequined bottle of gin.
“Really such a christmas heaux,” EmRata captioned the photo dump, which also included a rust-colored blazer, a bubble bath, and fresh snow. “Grateful and full of love.”
