If you thought Dua Lipa's wedding ensemble looked familiar, that's because she leaned into one of the most iconic bridal looks of all time for her special day.

The "Levitating" singer, 30, wed Callum Turner in an intimate ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall, in London, on Sunday, May 31. The bride wore a custom Schiaparelli skirt suit that leaned into the menswear-inspired fashion worn decades ago by Bianca Jagger when she wed Mick Jagger in May 1971.

Lipa's two-piece featured a tailored ivory blazer embellished with personalized gold bijoux buttons. The jacket was paired with a matching skirt with an asymmetrical and sculpted blush bustier trimmed in white lace. Completing the look were white gloves, Christian Louboutin shoes and a white hat by Stephen Jones.

Turner, 36, kept his wedding-day attire minimalist, wearing a monochromatic navy suit.

Over five decades ago Bianca, who tied the knot with The Rolling Stones lead in Saint-Tropez, France, wore a similar look made by Yves Saint Laurent and according to Vogue, the outfit — consisting of the Le Smoking jacket and a coordinating skirt— was expertly cut to accommodate her secret pregnancy with their daughter Jade. The activist and former actress also wore a hat on her wedding day, but with a veil. (Bianca filed for divorce on the grounds of adultery in 1978.)

Although the style was not on-trend at the time, Bianca's love for suiting has become a mainstay in fashion with stars like Zendaya —who wore a Bianca-inspired look to the 2025 Met Gala — recreating her flair in their own ways. Now Lipa is setting the tone for more nontraditional bridal looks to walk down the aisle.

Lipa confirmed her engagement to Turner after weeks of speculation in an interview with British Vogue in June 2025. The “Houdini” singer said at the time that she was hoping to tie the knot after completing her world tour. In the time since, the three-time Grammy winner has shown off her sparkler, which features a diamond set on a wide cigar band.

As Lipa shared in her conversation with British Vogue, Turner had the ring custom-made with some insight from her best friends and sister. "I'm obsessed with it. It's so me," she said. "It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well."

Lipa and Turner first sparked romance rumors in January 2024, when they attended the Masters of Air afterparty together in London. As their relationship blossomed, Lipa shared her thoughts on creating a family with the Eternity star.

“I'd love to have kids one day,” she previously shared. “But it's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time — how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I'd have to take.”

“I think it's just one of those things that's going to happen when it happens," she added.
